Acting Up with Clare Prenton Read, Act, Go see! Acting Up is a class for all those 50+ interested in studying plays, perhaps trying acting them out and picking up acting skills from a professional theatre director. This year we will be looking at a range of popular comedies and thrillers currently in production, allowing you to really explore the play in sessions and then contrast with a current production, if you wish to ‘go see’... Mondays 6 January - 30 March 6, 13 and 20 January Present Laughter by Noel Coward Screened live at The Eastgate Theatre on Thursday 19 December – watch it ready for January. 27 January; 3 and 10 February The Habit of Art by Alan Bennett (being performed at The Kings Theatre 31 March - 4 April) 17, 24 February; and 2 March Mrs Puntilla and her Man Matti By Bertolt Brecht, translated by Denise Mina (being performed at The Royal Lyceum from 28 February) 9, 16 March The Woman in Black by Stephen Mallatratt (being performed at The Kings Theatre, 21 - 25 April) Age: 50+
